Sign up & sign in

Your Downlink account is how you sign in and which business you're working in. Create one in under a minute β€” the free plan needs no card β€” then sign in with email and password or with Google, and switch between businesses from the account switcher at the bottom of the sidebar.

Where to find it #

app.downlinkcrm.com β†’ Sign in

When you're signed out, Downlink opens on the Sign in screen. New here? Follow the Create an account link under the form. Once you're in, everything account-related lives in the switcher panel at the bottom of the sidebar β€” your business, who you're signed in as, and Sign out.

Create your account #

  1. Open the sign-up form β€” from the sign-in screen, click Create an account. The free plan needs no card.
  2. Enter your details β€” type your Email, a Password (at least 8 characters), and the same again under Confirm password. If they don't match you'll see "Passwords don't match."; too short and you'll see "Use at least 8 characters."
  3. Or use Google β€” prefer one tap? Click Sign up with Google instead and skip the password and confirmation step entirely.
  4. Create the account β€” click Create account. With email sign-up, Downlink sends a confirmation link.
  5. Confirm your email β€” you'll see "Check [your email] for a confirmation link, then sign in." Open the email, click the link, and come back to sign in.
πŸ“§ Confirm before you can sign in

Email sign-ups need confirming first β€” until you click the link in that message, there's no session, so signing in won't work yet. Can't find it? Check your spam folder. Google sign-ups are confirmed automatically, so there's no email step.

  1. Enter email and password β€” on the sign-in screen, type your Email and Password, then click Sign in.
  2. Or sign in with Google β€” click Sign in with Google to use the account you signed up with.
  3. You're in β€” Downlink drops you on your dashboard, ready to line up flights and work your clients. If something's wrong, the exact reason from the server appears in red under the form.

Switch between businesses #

One sign-in can belong to more than one business β€” for example if a friend adds you to theirs as a pilot. The account switcher at the bottom of the sidebar keeps them apart.

  1. Open the switcher β€” at the bottom of the sidebar, the Business panel shows the business you're in now. When you belong to more than one, click it to open Switch business.
  2. Pick a business β€” choose one from the list; the tick shows the active one. Everything on screen β€” clients, jobs, missions, money β€” reloads scoped to that business.
  3. Check who you are β€” the You row shows your email and your role in this business (owner, admin, pilot, editor, or viewer).
πŸ’‘ Business vs Account settings

The switcher has two shortcuts: Business (rename, logo, address β€” for the whole company) and Account (just you β€” your own sign-in and preferences). Your subscription is per business, so the plan follows whichever business you're currently in.

πŸ”’ Businesses stay separate

Data never leaks between businesses. Each has its own clients, jobs, and missions, and the switcher scopes every request to the one in focus before anything loads β€” so switching is a clean context change, not a merge. Done for the day? Sign out sits just below the switcher.
